In which I go crazy with the screenshots

I have been having some fun without actually doing anything constructive. Wheee.

Booggah went and tamed his new friend. His name is Ice, and he is Samurai and Gabriel's son. I love him to bits already.

I never got around to showing a screenie of his chimaera, so have one now. Plus a bonus fox!

Still having mixed feelings about the whole pet auto-levelling and no more happiness things, but so far I've decided to take it as a good thing. Pet leveling was my favorite way to "bond" with a pet, plus if they didn't "click" I could usually tell right away (like with Lark's poor dog) and not have to waste time/stable space on it. But meh, I'll deal with it.

Speaking of stables, Lark got this boy a while ago, but he hasn't had a mention yet.

His name is Tuah, after her moonstalker. Yes, she still has the original Tuah. Shush.

He's getting a mention now because he will become an IC pet as soon as I think up a story for him. I have a general idea for it, just need to actually type it out. I am lazy.

Lark has another new addition, though I wouldn't really call him a pet...

Her old mount Wynd is starting to get old and stiff, so she's gotten a replacement. Old Wynd is still good for a few more years, so she has time to raise and train this little guy.

I love the dailies for him so much, you have no idea. This pic has even made it's way to my pc desktop.

*Squees from cuteness*

Pitch has found a new mission, too. With 4.1, Blizz added a couple more achievements for non-combat pets. Pitch is up to 91.

Minions, he has them.

It annoys me that Rheugan's in-game catform is larger than Pitch's. In reality, the opposite is supposed to be true. So, mix some elixirs with a little pygmy oil, and there! I fixed it!

ICly, they are both doing well. Rheugan is getting ready for his Claw test, aka going to Nagrand and killing some Really Large Animals. For realz.

Other than that, Rheugan has been... quiet. Pitch had some awesome RPs with some of the Riders, but Rheu had to stay at home, and I'm still not certain how much all of that is bugging him. He's not mad at Pitch by any means, but still, he's tired of feeling left out all the time and not knowing why.

He's also still wrestling with the aftermath of returning to Gilneas. Seeing his homeland all but abandoned, the effects that the war has had on it, really hit a nerve, and he's not been very willing to let me know what's going on inside his head. I'm poking at him a lot, however, and I think I might be breaking through. If he lets me write anything about it, it'll be showing up here.

And hey, Spirit Bond has reached 10,000 views! I was debating thinking up something special for the occasion, but it kinda snuck up on me unprepared. Still worth a mention, especially since I never thought anyone besides my sister and a couple friends would ever even look at it! I'm not a "big" blogger by any means, and not looking to become one (no thanks!) but it still gives me some pretty nice feelings.

I will be fiddling with some chatlogs in the near future; some of the recent RP has been worth sharing, I think, so I'll clean them up and post them. Til then, Happy Hunting!

Short Post Is Short

Writer's block is being annoying again, but I am still doing art stuff at least, might even finish something today. We'll see.

My GM on Gilneas is back at last! We may be raiding again soon (I hope I hope), yay!

I've been lazy on WoW lately, but my LOTRO warden is up to 17 already. Rajast and Davoss are clamoring for attention, however, so I'll probably spend some time on one or both of them today.

I made that new blog I was talking about. It's over here. Blogspot has been pretty good to me so far, so I'm sticking with them. So... that will be where I'll be posting most of my random thoughts, and Spirit Bond will be strictly WoW, mostly RP stuff I'm thinking. Most of my "update" posts will be on the new one, along with stuff from the other games I play, and maybe some real-life stuff. Maybe. If I feel like posting it. >.>

Sooo, can't think of anything else right now. Til next time, Happy Hunting!

Directions

Anyone that's been reading my blog for awhile may (or may not :P) have noticed I've changed a couple things. My blogroll has been edited a few times, both to weed out blogs that seem to be dead, and to add a few others that I've found. I have a new profile picture (/waves at Shaurria-clone :D) and I've updated the "About Me" bit. I'm still planning a few more changes for the future, as soon as I figure out exactly what I want.

When I first started Spirit Bond, I was big on my hunters; this seems to have shoe-horned it into being a "hunter blog." This wasn't my intention, and I've been wondering if anyone has been like "Where did all the hunter posts go?" If you've been reading it for the hunter posts, I'm sorry to disappoint, but my main reason for creating the blog was to post RP stories, along with anything I just needed to get out of my head. I've been focusing on my druids a lot lately, and death knights before then, and obviously I write about what I'm playing at the time. Who knows? Maybe I'll get back to the hunters again someday.

I won't be changing the blog's name, or my header picture, even tho they are both hunter-centric (sp?). Kaledain was my original reason for starting this, and just because he's not in every post doesn't mean he's not a big part of the blog.

And just to clarify, I'm not ranting about anything here. I really don't even mind if Spirit Bond is still considered a "hunter blog." I just wanted to explain things in case anyone was wondering what was going on.

Elsewhere, I'm still wondering what to do with my toons. Playing on Feathermoon (and even Moon Guard on occasion) has spoiled me enough that when I log on Gilneas or Durotan, I feel like something's missing. I have no idea if I'd be able to convince my Gilneas friends to move over to FM, but if they did, I'd move my guys over in a heartbeat. On Horde-side, I've decided I am transferring 5 more of my toons eventually; Boogga, Taurros, Zuuluu, Taurron, and Rajast are all on the list. I may even go really crazy and try doing a faction switch with one or two of them, though I haven't put any real thought into that yet. And I might, might transfer Pitchblàck over, too. Yes, that means I'll have 3 druids and 3 hunters all on the same server, but I accepted my addiction a long time ago. ;)

The rest of my Durotan toons will stay there, so I can chat on occasion with the friends I've made, but I don't know how much playtime they'll get. I'm already not playing them much, because I've been trying to level my "main" ones. To be honest, I really do have way too many characters, so I just might weed them out a bit.

Umm, let's see, what else...?

Shaurria is coming along pretty well. I'm gonna try to write something soon about how she's dealing with things, now that she's not shutting stuff in so much. Arvoss actually provided some insight to how she's feeling right now: "She's lettin' 'erself feel naow, 'stead o' keepin' it all locked away. Sae righ' naow she really dinnae ken wha' t' do wi' 'erself." (I was thinking this through at work a couple days ago. Yes, I was that bored, and yes, I talk to my characters in my head. >.>) Right now she's just being clingy with everyone she knows. I'm kinda hoping no one needs a Therapy Cat(TM) anytime soon, she may not be up for it yet.

I'm leveling Kaled and Khaotic OOCly for now, since it'd be kinda hard for Khaotic to do much of anything. ICly, they are chilling at their home with occasional short, leisurely trips so she doesn't go loony from boredom. I took them by the Noxilite campfire last Monday night, but no one was there. /shrug. Baby-day is scheduled for around Christmas-time, give or take a day or two. Oh, and she just tamed a warp stalker. :D

His name is Vress'lve which means "claw" in Drow. Now if they have any tough elite quests, they have 2 tank pets for hopefully better chances.

Arvoss is 73 now, halfway to 74. I'm pushing him along as fast as I can with my ADDness so he can start running heroics and stuff, both for gear and so I can learn how to DKTank effectively. Although noone has complained yet when I've tanked an instance, so I'm guessing I'm doing it right?

I found out a few days ago that I have another week of vacation. O.o So I'll be taking that at the end of the year, right after Christmas, and I'm gonna use it to level as many of my toons as possible. I'm not holding my breath, but it'd be awesome if I could get Arvoss and Taurros to 80, and get Shaur up to at least 60 (though she might get there before vacation even starts /crosses fingers). Then I'll still have Taurron, Pitch, Quae and Khlar to get to 80, but hey, every little bit helps, right?

Can't think of anything more, and I'm nodding off already. >.< Gonna crash for a bit before RP stuffs start tonight. Happy Hunting!

Another milestone for Khaotic

Khaotic has reached level 40!! Thanks in no small part to dragging her thru dungeons to get her some mail armor. The loot RNG doesn't seem to like her, tho, so Boogga will be making her some armor after I farm up some mats.

I am loving leveling with only one pet, I have to admit. Alti does a fine job with whatever she needs, including tanking an elite or two. I do have to watch her aggro with her MM/Surv spec, but most of the time he does fine. Maelthra is not being totally neglected; she usually comes along on the instance runs and gets her xp that way.

For anyone that might be wondering about the scarcity of regular posts, don't worry. I'm not losing interest in the blog. My #1 reason for starting Spirit Bond, however, was to post my stories, and they can be pretty sporadic. I was trying to do daily posts for awhile, and found myself scrounging for something to say, so I have decided if I didn't have something that I found interesting to post, I just wouldn't do one.

My story-writing seems to come in fits and bursts. I'm having a bit of a dry spell right now, but that usually means that when my writer's block is over, I'll have 3-4 new ones at least in the next couple days, so keep watching.

I believe I am catching a cold or something, my throat hurts something fierce. I'm hoping it's not as bad as the last one, which had me flat on my back for a couple days. We'll see how it goes.

Til next time, Happy Hunting!

Tagged:Album Meme

Klinderas got me on the latest meme going around (I'm still not sure what that means >.>) so here is my attempt. The idea is to make up a music album with band name, title and pic.

I hope Klin doesn't mind if I copy/paste the instructions from his blog. >.>

The rules-
1 – Go to “wikipedia.” Hit “random… Read More”
or click Here
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 – Go to “Random quotations”
or click Here
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 – Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click Here
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4 – Use photoshop or similar to put it all together.

Aaaannd, here's mine :P

It seems so....tame... :/

So now I tag....... anyone that reads this that hasn't been tagged yet! Muahaha!

Go forth and make your albums! And Happy Hunting!

One thousand is a lot

Spirit Bond has reached 1000 views! Wow, I never thought there would be that many people looking at it when I started it. Thanks to everyone that's been reading it regularly (or even not-so-regularly) and hopefully you've all enjoyed it! :)

Got to run right now, see y'all later and Happy Hunting!
