Khaotic-An Old Friend (picture-heavy)

I mentioned before that I was wanting to retame Khaotic's ghost saber, Gulhalrathn. Well, I decided to go do it today. And just for kicks, I took screenies of the whole thing. Enjoy!

Hello, Auberdine. For some reason I don't think I should go any closer.

At the Ruins of Mathystra finally! Here is what we're looking for, and I just so happened to find it right away.

There's only a chance the cat will spawn when you open the figurine, so we might be in for a long stay. But luck's on our side, because he jumps out on the first try! Trap, tame, go!

And he's ours! Wheee!


Hey, fella. I've missed you.

So now she has a level 59 cat. Instances seem to be the way to go for pet-leveling, so I queue her up and it pops shortly after. One rather challenging Slave Pens run later, and he is caught up to her at 64. Yay!

The run left Khaotic just short of 65, so when the group I was in wanted to run another, I stayed. Khaotic traded Gul for Maelthra, since she was falling a bit behind. We got Blood Furnace, where Khaotic got her level and Maelthra caught up to her. Didn't finish the instance as the group was not very..... umm, nevermind, we won't go there. But I'm happy anyway, despite the repair bills.

Tomorrow I'll hop on Kaled and run instances to catch him up, then they'll be off questing together again. Nagrand, ho!

Mission Accomplished!

Kaledain and Khaotic did their last Ravasaur daily today! (And got achievements for it, go figure. Apparently I was never able to do it for 5 days straight.)

Their names are Sarnor (Kaled's) and Jess (Khaotic's), "swift" and "fang" respectively in the Drow tongue.

Still got a couple preparations to do, but I'll be transferring them later today. Woohoo!

And Arvoss and Windstar have done the entire Wrathgate quest chain. Arvoss got pretty peeved during the battle in Undercity, because everything was either yanking him around or throwing him up against the walls. (Seriously, I mean everything was doing it. >.>)

Going to be working on some more Shaurria RPs for the next few days. Not exactly sure what I'm going to be doing, but hopefully whatever I wind up doing will go well. /crosses fingers

Kaled & Khaotic reach level 60!

And as soon as I can wrap up the Darrowshire questline, they are heading to Outland at last. But why did I wait? Couple reasons- firstly, epic ground mount. Faster escapes when I run thru everything in my path is always good. Also, not every quest out there is available at level 58. I'm toying with the idea of taking them to Zangarmarsh first, and doing Hellfire Peninsula later. Also, I have rushed thru content so much for most of my toons; I wanted to do some of the quests that I haven't done before (like the Darrowshire chain). Call me nostalgic if you will, but eh.

My sister on her druid & I were going to finish the questline tonight, but we ran into a snag. Seems the Battle of Darrowshire quest bugs out sometimes. When we went to do our quest, there were mobs and guards running all over the place, and no sign of the NPCs anywhere. We might have to wait for Tuesday's reset to be able to finish it. :(


Will finish up the story once we do complete it. Then it's on to Outland, with a brief stopover to do Warlord's Command (love that quest and haven't done it since Boogga reached 60).

Breaking news: 2 long hunts are finished

First bit of news is this.



The leveling grind is over! And yes, I know it says they are 56 instead of 55. I took them both into Sunken Temple with my sister's hunter Rajji a few days ago, and that leveled Kaled. >.>

Now I get to farm battlegrounds til they get their epic mounts. Oh joy.

Second bit of news is this: When I got up this morning for work, I discovered that my sister had been up literally all night. But! She had a surprise for me. She had just found and tamed Loque'nahak!! Don't have any screenshots yet, but I'll be sticking them up here when I do!

Edit: This is on her Ne hunter Kelesaria. Her troll Rajji tamed Gondria the very next day after Boogga got his.

I'm reallly happy for her, since this has been about a 6-month search. She's even had him stolen from her a time or two. But now, she finally has him! Yay!

Kaled and Khaotic: Updates

First, for Khaotic-

She's now only 5 levels behind Kaled, then the duoing begins! (If my computer can handle it >.>)

For Kaled-
We actually, finally, somehow won an AV match. This gives him 27 marks (yes, yes, I've been slacking) and a shiny new weapon.

For anyone that's curious about why I haven't moved them yet, or why they are even on a non-RP server in the first place, here's an example. I went to look at an enchant scroll for his spear, and the scrolls for +25 agility were going for 125g and up. Rather than pay that much, especially when he is trying to save towards his epic mount training, I just bought the mats, made a weapon vellum, and mailed it all to Zuuluu, my rogue and enchanter. He made the scroll and sent it back. 30 seconds of work and Kaled had his enchant, for about 30g. Self-proficiency is win.

Another milestone for Khaotic

Khaotic has reached level 40!! Thanks in no small part to dragging her thru dungeons to get her some mail armor. The loot RNG doesn't seem to like her, tho, so Boogga will be making her some armor after I farm up some mats.

I am loving leveling with only one pet, I have to admit. Alti does a fine job with whatever she needs, including tanking an elite or two. I do have to watch her aggro with her MM/Surv spec, but most of the time he does fine. Maelthra is not being totally neglected; she usually comes along on the instance runs and gets her xp that way.

For anyone that might be wondering about the scarcity of regular posts, don't worry. I'm not losing interest in the blog. My #1 reason for starting Spirit Bond, however, was to post my stories, and they can be pretty sporadic. I was trying to do daily posts for awhile, and found myself scrounging for something to say, so I have decided if I didn't have something that I found interesting to post, I just wouldn't do one.

My story-writing seems to come in fits and bursts. I'm having a bit of a dry spell right now, but that usually means that when my writer's block is over, I'll have 3-4 new ones at least in the next couple days, so keep watching.

I believe I am catching a cold or something, my throat hurts something fierce. I'm hoping it's not as bad as the last one, which had me flat on my back for a couple days. We'll see how it goes.

Khaotic: no longer walking

She was sitting at level 28, so I took her to Thousand Needles and started questing. Little bit later and....



...she dinged level 30!! Woohoo!!

She and Alti solo'd the level 30 elite quest panther. At level 28. /flex

Going to try some instance runs for a while, see if I can't get her some better gear. Maybe SM graveyard/Library with Boogga or one of my sister's high-levels.

Not much else going on. Taurron is 71 now, specced back to prot, and has gotten all his Nexus/UK quests done, he looks mean and spiky now with all the new gear. Muahaha! Tomorrow night is Boogga's first raid with his regular group, my guild finally has enough people to run 2 10-Naxx groups. :D

Also, my kitty is incredibly silly. And he has a fascination with plastic bags.

Been Busy...

Apologies for the lack of regular posts. I've been busy and haven't made any time for the blog the last few days. But, I've gotten alot of stuff done.

Khlar is up to 64 and I'm thinking of skipping Zangarmarsh with him and going to Terokkar til he levels, then hitting Nagrand at 65. Though it is tempting to just run thru the zones in "order", then he'll have plenty to do for the upper-60s and I might be able to skip the parts I don't care much for (most of Netherstorm comes to mind...).

Khaotíc is 24 now after a run through RFK and BFD. I wanted to get her here for a reason, which is shown below. :)

Of course after I got that last level I went to get him and discovered that he's actually 23, I could have sworn he was 24 last time I saw him... >.>

His name, Alti'ui'qo, is Drow for wing clip. My trend with Khaotíc is that all her pets have names in the Drow language. And if you don't know what a Drow is, I would enthusiastically recommend you go read R. A. Salvatore's Drizzt series.

Last night's Naxx raid was fun as usual. I didn't really want to go at first but I'm glad I did, 'cause Boogga got his tier 7 chest!! And he had enough emblems after to get a new neck, too. He is now over the hit cap, so I can finally look for stuff without +hit on it, woot.

On a final note, I finally figured out why I've been so tired the last few days. I'm catching a cold or something, oh joy. If I don't post again for a few days, you'll know it's because I can't get out of bed. :(
