Just in Time!

I've been working on Taurros the last couple days, and when I logged off last night he was about 83% through level 84. So today after work I got back on the old boy and...

This was another of my pre-Mists goals, one that I didn't think I'd be able to get done. Needless to say, it feels really good to have finished him in time. I'm not worried about gearing him at all, he'll just pick up a set of vendor gear before he starts his Pandaria questing.

I had a bit of amusement while he was questing in the Highlands- a pvp-flagged pally found him and decided to "play"...

He was so busy trying to kill my mobs for me, I don't even know if he noticed when I flew off. >.>

I think I forgot to mention that I finally got this guy. Taurros helped- when I took him back to Nagrand to help Sis' mage with Ring of Blood, I stopped him by Garadar and bought a few more talbuks. XD

Still have a number of mounts I can grab if I decide I want a dragonhawk, though I'm still more concerned with mini-pet collecting. Kael'thas still refuses to give up his phoenix hatchling, and Pebble seems to be behaving himself in Deepholme. Hoping that I'll finally get lucky and nab them both before too much longer!

I'm getting really excited for Mists now. Only a bit over 24 hours! Tomorrow I am off work, so I'm planning to just tinker with stuff and make sure everyone is ready, then it'll be just waiting on the clock. Right now, though, I need sleep so I can focus on stuff tomorrow.

Taurros dings 80!!

Got him from 78 to 80 in one day, whew! Then got his gear in order, crossed my fingers, and joined the heroic queue as a tank/dps. It threw me in as a tank, of course, and his first heroic was... Halls of Lightning. It did not go well. -.-

I may run him as just dps for a bit, I mostly just wanted to see if he could tank something. I'll work on it more tomorrow. I suppose I really ought to run him in the normal 80 dungeons, but.... I did that with Arvoss, and I'm impatient this go-round. I know Taurros and know what he can do pretty well, and I really want him to get some gear before too long. With reports that the rest of Icecrown will be released soon, I feel like Cataclysm isn't that far off, and I'm starting to feel rushed. I still want to try and get Pitch, Quae, and Taurron to 80 before the expansion, but I don't know if I'll make it. WTB more time?

On an aside, I have another little side project going. I made a couple alts on Feathermoon, a mage and pally, in the hope that I might actually figure out those classes and stick with them. Davoss and Evirace are not even 10 yet, since I only play them when I'm super bored. Davoss will be probably prot, so he can tank while Evi nukes. Yes, I'm duoing them. :D

I do plan on Rping them eventually, I just want to level them up some first. Davoss is Arvoss' long-lost son, who has been "hiding out" in Northshire, so he doesn't even know Arvoss is alive (sort of >.>). It will be interesting when they finally meet. And Evi is Dav's fiancee. >.>

Going to try and go to bed at a decent time, I'm back to normal work hours so gotta get up early. Will try to post Taurros' success/failure at heroic-ing tomorrow! And hopefully get back on Pitch, I want to hurry and get the quests done, even if my writer's block keeps me from doing the story right away. Til next time Happy Hunting!

It Never Gets Old...

Taurros has become my 4th toon to go through the Wrathgate chain. I still get chills watching the cinematic.

I gave Shaur a break today so she can build up some rested xp, and wound up leveling both Taurros and Taurron, to 76 and 73 respectively. I want to get Taurron through Wrathgate next ASAP, then I may go back to Pitch and level him enough to get through it. Well, either Pitch or Arvoss, I would like to get Arvoss to 80 soon, so he can still help Shaur level through Outland. Once I get one of them finished, I'll go back and do the other.

Unfortunately I'm still feeling no inclination to play Zuuluu. Maybe a faction change is in order? I used to have a gnome rogue that I've been missing lately...

I'm thinking of transferring Kaledain and Khaotic in the next week or two. They're almost finished with Ravasaur dailies (only 5 more baby teeth!) and probably once they're done with that, I'll go ahead with it. And who knows, maybe my level 40 troll shaman will join them.

Got a story written up for some RPs with Arvoss, Shaurria, and Windstar, I'm gonna post it either tonight or tomorrow morning even though the RP will be occurring on Tuesday (if all goes well, /glares at work schedules).

Taurros goes to Violet Hold

I dinged him to 74 last time I played him, so when a guild mate asked for a tank for Azjol-Nerub I volunteered. I would have had to respec him since he is kitty at the moment, but I didn't really care. Turned out he got to dps as my guildie found a tank, but we couldn't find a healer til my sister logged on her level 71 priest, Caderlly. He was a little low for AN so we did Nexus instead, which was good 'cause Taurros still hadn't done all the quests for it.

We did so good in there that we went ahead and did AN after, and had no problems. We were on a roll, and everyone wanted to do one more. But what instance? We decided on Violet Hold.

T was almost 75 by then so I ran through a few quests while we were getting Caderlly to Dalaran (no Cold Weather Flying for him yet). Then I took him and got the VH quest and in we went.


We had no problems, aside from a little scare on the last boss. Cad died and I was a little slow with the battle res cause I wasn't paying attention, so our tank went down. I popped a res on Cad and went bear, and tanked the boss for the last little bit. /flex

So now we have a level 71 toon with the Violet Hold achievement. If my sister doesn't brag about this, I think I will.

And the heirloom shoulders + chest is insane. T was getting 5-6k xp for most mobs, around 8k for bosses, and almost 50k for each quest turn in (51k for the VH quest O.O).
